         After long time of dealing with problems, we'll soon ship out all the ERL 2.0 replacements. If everything goes fine, I estimate all replacements will be shipped out in about 15 days. We've already recorded your addresses through previous emails, but if you've changed it over time, feel free to inform us. Otherwise, we'll provide a tracking number to you after the item has been shipped.

We know it’s almost 5 months since our last update, and we’re sorry for all the long waiting. As you know, there have been some problems with the old ERL earbuds, such as, connection dropping and inefficient battery. We started to analyze the problems ever since they’d been discovered and finally narrowed them down. Then we decided that we need to update the whole structure of the earbuds to avoid any possible malfunctioning. But it’s a big challenge for our team both technically and financially. 

Nonetheless, we devoted all our time and money into developing the new ERL 2.0 earbuds as we fully understood that only providing a product as good as we’d promised could correct all the mistakes we’d made.

Now, here we are, with brand new ERL earbuds which perfectly meet all the descriptions on Indiegogo. The mass production is almost done and we want to share some of the pictures to you guys to let you know that you will receive these incredible products soon.

The shipping would happen in the foreseeable future and we’ll update your tracking number as soon as possible. If you’ve already provided your address to us but changed it over time, please send an email to [email protected] to update it, if not, then you only need to wait for your inform email. Dear Indiegogo backers,

Greetings! The whole ERL team including our factory partners are working very hard on delivering next batch of ERL earbuds on time. We heard you from the comments that you have some questions about the products, shipping and refund policy. Please read on.

We have prepared a guide below to help you with connecting your ERL earbuds to your phone. You can also find this guide on https://geterl.com/pages/support

Can not find ERL2018001-L or R on my device.

  1. Try remove your previous connected ERL devices (if you have) and refresh your bluetooth list.
  2. Make sure your ERL earbud is in pairing mode.(Hold on 5s until the red and green lights shining by turns. Please refer to the video on Update#10).
  3. Try to remove some of your previously connected devices. Sometimes we find that if you have connected too many bluetooth devices, you may have issues creating new bluetooth connections.

Unstable Bluetooth connection/ Dropping frequently/ No sound in one earbud.

  1. Check if both earbuds are powered on.
  2. Make sure that you only turn on the second earbud AFTER the first earbud is connected to your phone. The second earbud will auto connect to the first one. Once both earbuds are connected, you shall be able to enjoy music, movies, games from your phone with stereo sound.
  3. If the above method does not work, try to place both earbuds in the charging case and press the buttons on both earbuds at the same time for up to 2 sec and you will see green light alternating 3 times. Doing this will reset the earbuds and repeat the initialization steps above. (We have a GIF of how to reset on: https://geterl.com/pages/support).
  4. Try a different source or streaming service.
  5. Try connecting to a different mobile device.
  6. On your mobile device, turn the Bluetooth feature off and then on.
  7. Delete your ERL wireless headphones from the Bluetooth list on your mobile device. Then connect again.
  8. Please note that during a phone call, you will only hear sound from one earbud (mono sound). This is due to a hardware limitation on all wireless Bluetooth devices. You will find similar limitations on other branded earbuds as well.

The battery life is not enough.

There are a few factors that will affect your experience on the battery life depending on how intense the earbuds are used. Here are a few tips that hopefully will help your ERL earphones last throughout your working day:

  1. Power off your earbuds when not in use.
  2. Place the earbuds back in the charging case.
  3. When the earbuds are fully charged (they will turn green once fully charged), double-click the power button located at the centre of the case (see below).  This will prevent overcharging and help preserve the battery life of the charging case as well. 

After you have successfully connected the ERL earbuds to your Bluetooth device first time, next time when you want to use ERL earbuds, ONLY need to:

  1. Turn on your device's Bluetooth.
  2. Power on both earbuds, the device and the earbuds will connect automatically.

Shipping Issue:

Our factory has received an overwhelming amount of orders than we anticipated. The ERL team, the factory and our logistics partner have been working closely to expedite all orders. However, we still have a lot of backlog of orders and we hope we can clear all orders by end of March.  We appreciate your patience and support. Your orders will be shipped soon.

And we apologize that the shipping take too long to arrive for some countries. We are working with the logistics partner to push delivery process. We are trying to find a better shipping method to resolve these kind of problem and hope you can receive your item soon.

Refund Policy:

For all Indiegogo Indemand orders, since we only receive payment from Indiegogo one month after your order. We are unable to refund you before we actually receive your payment from Indiegogo.

For campaigns in InDemand, backers can request a refund from Indiegogo within 10 days of the transaction provided the InDemand page is live, the perk has not been fulfilled, and the funds have not been disbursed to the campaigner.  Please also note that we, as campaigner, are only disbursed by Indiegogo once a month. This is why we are unable to provide the refund before we receive the disbursement from Indiegogo.

Please send your refund application to [email protected] with your order name, order ID, Paypal info, and change the subject as “Refund”.

Dear Indiegogo Backers,

As the holiday approached, we all staff and the factory are still working on the production and preparing orders. We are working with our logistic partners to make the final push before the Chinese New Year.

We care about when you will receive the product, and how you feel about the product as much as you do. We want to get more products before the holiday so that we can send them out once the holidays are over.

Some of our backers pointed out the similarity between our products and some other competing products. We have been working on ERL earphones very closely with our manufacturers and we did take suggestions from our manufacturers regarding some of the designs of the products while we can focus more on the audio aspects of the earphones. We take Intellectual Properties very seriously and respect innovations. In the meanwhile, we will also consider legal actions against violations of our IP.

Regarding shipping, here are something we like to clarify:

1. The Bpost will send the package directly to the destination country and no transfer needed. Before the package arrives at the destination, the info will as followings: Item is announced / bpost received the information(UTC/GMT+1~2).

2. Some backers might have received units with white logos (rather than black). Please contact us via [email protected] along with a photo of your earbuds if you believe you received the white logo units. We will send a replacement pair immediately to you.
